About this event

White Tara (Tibetan: Drolma Karmo) is one of the most revered longevity deities in Tibetan Buddhism and the embodiment of the compassion and wisdom of all Buddhas. For those seeking freedom from anxiety, fear, and physical suffering, White Tara is looked to as a powerful source of refuge and support. White Tara's blessings, in particular, help practitioners purify obstacles, awaken innate wisdom, heal illness, and prolong life.

White Tara is also one of the primary deities in Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche's lineage. During this empowerment, Mingyur Rinpoche will explain the meaning and importance of the empowerment and guide participants in receiving its true transmission and blessings.

By participating in this sacred event, you will receive Rinpoche's blessings to purify the negative energy and karmic obstacles of body, speech, and mind. You will also receive the formal authorization to engage in the White Tara practice in the future and recite her sacred mantra. Through this empowerment, you will establish a deep connection with White Tara, awakening the inherent compassion, wisdom, and healing potential within your own mind.
