Anytime Anywhere Meditation: A Workshop for Social Changemakers

.

In-Person and Online

About this event

For those dedicated to serving others and creating positive social change, a common challenge often arises: How can we continue to give of ourselves while maintaining clarity, compassion, and resilience, without becoming exhausted or losing touch with ourselves?

To explore this question together, we warmly invite you to join the Anytime Anywhere Meditation: A Workshop for Social Changemakers. We warmly invite you to join Anytime Anywhere Meditation, a workshop offered by Tergar Asia and based on the meditation teachings of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.

Together, we will explore how meditation is more than a practice of sitting quietly. It is a way of life that can be woven into our daily activities, allowing awareness, compassion, and wisdom to naturally inform our work, relationships, leadership, and engagement with society.

Through guided meditation, concise teachings, personal reflection, and group dialogue, participants will learn to reconnect with an inner sense of calm and stability, while exploring practical and sustainable ways to navigate the challenges of work and life.

Organised in collaboration with Tian Ren Culture (Hong Kong), this workshop is designed especially for social changemakers and community leaders in Hong Kong, and will be led by experienced Tergar AAM instructors. The in-person workshop will be conducted in Cantonese, while Mandarin interpretation will be available for online participants.

This workshop is suitable for, but not limited to:

Educators and those working in youth development
Professionals in healthcare, mental health, and wellbeing fields
Members of NGOs, non-profit organizations, community groups, and long-term volunteers
Individuals working in charities or social enterprises
Students and social researchers

No prior meditation experience is required, and beginners are warmly welcome. Those who have previously attended Tergar programs are also encouraged to join and deepen their practice.

Beyond the workshop itself, we hope to cultivate an ongoing community of mutual support, where participants can continue exploring how meditation can enrich their work, relationships, leadership, and overall wellbeing.

Participation is free of charge, and both in-person and online attendance options are available. While joining online may be more convenient, we strongly encourage participants to attend in person whenever possible. In-person participation offers a richer learning experience and deeper opportunities to connect with the instructors and fellow participants.

As space is limited for the in-person workshop, we encourage interested participants to register early. Confirmation of in-person places will be sent by 29 June 2026.
