Offering to Sangha

Some 1,500 sangha members will be gathered in Tergar Osel Ling Monastery, as 1,250 monks had done in the Buddha’s time. On this auspicious occasion, where aspirations will be made in the powerful presence of the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, Tergar Asia will make an offering to the sangha, taking the opportunity to make virtuous connections and accumulate merit.    We invite all dharma friends who also wish to take this wonderful opportunity to accumulate merit to join us.   If you’d like to make an offering to the participating sangha members, please send your donation to Tergar Asia, so that each drop of merit collected will find their way unerringly to the sea of virtue and eventually become the boundless treasury of precious qualities.

As a reference:

A HK$450 donation will make possible an offering of about 5 Nepalese rupees (HK$0.30) to each sangha member

A HK$900 donation will make possible a 10 Nepalese rupees (HK$0.60) offering to each

A HK$9,000 donation will make possible a 100 Nepalese rupees (HK$6) offering to each
