Flash Floods along the Nepal–China Border

A glacial collapse has triggered devastating flash floods across northern Nepal and areas along the Nepal–China border. The districts of Rasuwa and Nuwakot in Nepal have been severely affected, as has the area around Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, Shigatse, Tibet. Floodwaters have swept away homes, bridges and roads, leaving some communities completely isolated.

Tergar Osel Ling Monastery, our principal monastery, is located in Kathmandu. As part of the local community, we wish to contribute to the humanitarian response. All donations received will support relief and recovery efforts.

Tergar Asia has already allocated HK$XX to support humanitarian relief operations in Nepal. We remain in close communication with Tergar Osel Ling Monastery to monitor the situation, assess emerging needs on the ground and determine how we can best provide further assistance.
