Tergar Asia’s Online Teaching Programme 2020 with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

From this September, Tergar Asia will be offering a series of online retreats and teachings by Mingyur Rinpoche. Whether you are new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, we warmly invite you to join us for these precious teachings.

Details about the teachings and information about registration will be shared later. Please note that some of these teachings have prerequisites for attendance.


 

Joy of Living Level 3: Awakening Wisdom
Sept 18-20

The Joy of Living is a path of meditation study and practice that can be followed by anyone, regardless of religious or cultural orientation. In the third level of the Joy of Living, Mingyur Rinpoche offers guidance on the practice of insight meditation, a profound form of meditation that uproots the causes of anxiety and suffering.
[This retreat is open only to those who have attended and completed the practice requirements for the first two levels of the Joy of Living programme.]

 


 

The Essence of Abhidharma
Oct 8-11

This is the first time Mingyur Rinpoche will teach these key Buddhist texts outside the monastery. In this course, Rinpoche will share the essence teachings of Abhidharma over four sessions. The course is open to all.

 


 

Joy of Living Level 1: Calming the Mind
Oct 23-25

The Joy of Living is a path of meditation study and practice that can be followed by anyone. In the first level of the Joy of Living, Mingyur Rinpoche teaches how awareness meditation can be used to create a peaceful mind and joyful heart. This retreat is open to all.

 


 

Joy of Living Level 2: Opening the Heart
Nov 13-15

The Joy of Living is a path of meditation study and practice that can be followed by anyone. In the second level of the Joy of Living, Mingyur Rinpoche teaches how meditating on love, compassion, joy and equanimity can open our hearts to the world around us and decrease the self-fixation that lies at the root of suffering.
[This retreat is open only to those who have attended and completed the practice requirements for Joy of Living Level 1.]

 


 

Teachings on Amitabha’s Pure Land
Nov 26-29

Amitabha practice is a tradition of Buddhist teachings that is familiar to many in Asia. Mingyur Rinpoche will teach these treasured practices over four sessions. This course is open to all.

 


 

Path of Liberation Levels 3-4: Deepening Recognition
Dec 11-14

The Path of Liberation is an experiential path of meditation for those who wish to practice the Buddhist teachings under the guidance of Mingyur Rinpoche. The Levels 3 and 4 programme goes further into the unique lineage of nature of mind practice taught by Rinpoche, designed to strip away the causes of suffering and uncover the radiant awareness that underlies all experience.
[The retreat is open only to those who have already attended and completed the practice requirements for Path of Liberation Levels 1 and 2.]
