สถานที่ปลูกป่าใกล้วัด: ริมฝั่งห้วยถ้ำเต่า ใกล้วัดป่ามหาวัน (ภูหลง)
พื้นที่ประมาณ 5 ไร่ ในพื้นที่ถูกไฟไหม้ และซ่อมแซมในป่าเดิมทดแทนป่าไม้ที่ตายไป
ต้นไม้ทั้งหมดที่จะปลูก: 600 ต้นกล้า

กำหนดการ วันที่ 5 กรกฎาคม 2568

8:00 น. พบกันที่วัดป่ามหาวัน (ภูหลง)
9:00 น. ขับรถขึ้นไปที่ริมฝั่งห้วยถ้ำเต่าใกล้วัด หรือนั่งรถกระบะของวัดไปยังสถานที่ปลูกป่า
9:30 -11:30 น. ปลูกต้นไม้
11:30-12:00 น. เดินทางกลับไปที่วัด
11:30-12:30 น. รับประทานอาหารกลางวันที่วัด
12:30 น. เดินทางไปวัดป่าสุคโต
13:30 น. กราบนมัสการพระอาจารย์ไพศาล วิสาโล ถวายปัจจัยเพื่อโครงการร่วมมือรักษาป่าต้นน้ำลำปะทาว
14:00 น. จบกิจกรรม แยกย้ายกลับบ้านหรือไปเที่ยวชมสถานที่ต่างๆ

Tergar Thailand invites you to join Tree Planting – Supporting the "Collaborative Project for the Restoration of the Lam Pa Tao Watershed Forest" by Phra Ajahn Paisal Visalo.

July 5, 2025
8 AM – 2 PM
Meeting Point: Wat Pa Mahawan (Phu Long), Ban Tad Rin Thong, Chaiyaphum

Planting Location: Near the temple, along Huay Tham Tao stream
- Approximately 5 rai of fire-damaged land, with additional planting in degraded forest areas to replace lost trees
- Total saplings to be planted: 600

Schedule – July 5, 2025

8:00 AM – Gather at Wat Pa Mahawan
9:00 AM – Drive (or ride in the temple’s pickup truck) to Huay Tham Tao stream
9:30–11:30 AM – Tree planting
11:30 AM–12:00 PM – Return to the temple
12:00–12:30 PM – Lunch at the temple
12:30 PM – Travel to Wat Pa Sukkhato
1:30 PM – Pay respects to Phra Ajahn Paisal Visalo and offer donations for the watershed conservation project
2:00 PM – End of activities; depart or visit nearby attractions

On June 13 in Berkeley, CA, UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center hosted a conversation on the future of education, featuring Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, Dr. Richard Davidson, Dr. Justin Kelley, and Susan Kaiser Greenland—moderated by GGSC’s Dr. Emiliana Simon-Thomas.

Drawing from their shared work with the Tergar Schools project, the speakers explored how contemplative practice is helping young people regulate emotions, build compassion, and truly flourish. With insights from Tibetan Buddhism, neuroscience, and real-world classroom experience, the evening offered a hopeful vision of education rooted in awareness, connection, and joy.
